How to dial in

  • Set dose first, then pull and time. Adjust grind to hit time target.
  • Sour / acidic / under-extracted → grind finer.
  • Bitter / dry / harsh → grind coarser.
  • Light roasts generally want longer ratios (1:2.5–1:3) and longer time.
  • Always weigh both dose and yield. "By volume" is unreliable.
